About Our Founder
John DaSilva was introduced to The Modular Building Industry 11 years ago. In 2021 John Founded MODBLD INC. John comes from a family of Contractors where construction was a common topic at the dinner table. After attending College, John went on to be a Licensed Commercial Real Estate broker in New York which segue to working for the largest banks in the Real Estate finance sector for 15 years. After working in the Real Estate and Finance sector, John took a leap of faith and switched gears and worked in a Managerial Sales role for the largest provider of temporary modular buildings in the nation. John went onto specialize in very large and complicated modular buildings, delivering uncountable square feet of newly constructed modular building space.
Today, He is involved in all aspects of building the MODBLD brand focusing on growing the company and focusing on community engagement within the modular industry and growing the MODBLD team in the office and in the field.
John knows the ins and outs of each project and makes sure that all of them are finished on time, within budget, and according to the plans that were made ahead of time. His drive is to make his next project better than the last. Early on, he recognized how providing people with great places to work and live, serve as a foundation for happy, healthy, and sustainable living and he knew he wanted to be part of creating that change with Modular Building Construction..
